Security & Data Protection

Last updated:October 20, 2026

This page explains, in plain terms, what Selah Rooted does to protect your information — and what it does not claim.

How your information travels

Selah is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your device and Selah is encrypted in transit with TLS. Only Selah's own servers hold your account and study records.

Your password

Passwords are stored as salted cryptographic hashes, not as readable text. Nobody at Selah can see or recover your password, and password resets are handled through a one-time link sent to your email address.

Your reading, prayers and notes

Messages and inquiries

Contact form submissions are visible only to authorized administrators. Member support chat is visible to you and to the Selah support team.

Keys and connected services

API keys and provider credentials are kept on the server and are never sent to your browser. Optional donations are completed on Cash App, PayPal or by mail; Selah does not store full card numbers.

Administrator access

Administrator powers are checked on the server against a protected role record, not against anything stored in your browser. Invitations to additional administrators are single-use and expire, and access can be suspended or revoked at any time.

What Selah does not claim

If something looks wrong

Report anything that looks like a security problem through theContact Us form in the footer, or by email togenesissoundworks@yahoo.com. Please do not send passwords or full payment details.[Owner/legal review needed:add a dedicated security contact address if you want one]
